Feature Request - Option to Restrict Video Skipping/Forwarding

🆕 New

Dear Steppit Team,

In the process of creating and curating video content for my courses, I've realized the importance of ensuring that students fully engage with the materials provided. To this end, I believe an invaluable addition to your platform would be the implementation of a feature that allows educators the option to disable the ability for students to skip or fast-forward through videos.

This feature would help ensure that students are not able to bypass crucial information, thereby enhancing their understanding and retention of the course content. It could also provide educators with greater control over the pacing and sequencing of learning materials.

I understand that flexibility in how students consume content is important, so this feature could be optional, allowing educators to decide when it is most appropriate based on their specific educational goals.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe that by implementing such a feature, Steppit could further enrich its educational offerings and better support both teachers and learners in achieving their objectives.

Best regards,
Ronald
